Our relationship with the military goes back to 1895, when General Order No. 46 established the concept for what became the Exchange. Our job is to serve the Army and Air Force active duty servicemen and women. Wherever they are. Wherever they go. We also serve their dependents, retired military members, the Guard and Reserve.

We are partnered with the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), Wounded Warrior Project, Operation Warfighter (OWF) Program, Feds Hire Vets, the Texas Veterans' Commission and Joining Forces initiative to assist veterans in their civilian lives.

Retail Management Training Programs

Veterans can also apply for our Retail (RMT) and Advanced Retail (ARMT) management training programs, which take a variety of candidates – with limited retail knowledge to extensive experience in the retail industry. Upon successful completion, participants are assigned to managerial role, which could include Store Manager, Branch Store Manager, Sales Area Manager or Stockroom Manager.
