Geographically, USAG Humphreys (Land of the Morning Calm) is located 52 miles southwest of Seoul Korea. It is the home of the 23rd Area Support Group, 6th Cavalry Brigade and it sits within Area III. With numerous exercises USAG Humphreys is one the busiest Army Airfields outside of the United States. It’s a great place to be stationed and offers many opportunities for R&R in the immediate area. The area has four distinct seasons, with spring and fall being the most enjoyable. Winters tend to be relatively cold, and the summers are hot and muggy. The rainy season usually comes in July, and brings the occasional typhoon.
Camp Humphreys is home of the first, one stop shopping concept in AAFES. A complete and well-stocked PowerZone department offers you the latest DVD’s, Plasma & LCD TV’s, MP3s, IPODS, computers and much more. The latest styles in clothing and shoes are also available. The Concession Mall is a 72,000 square foot facility which offers Laundry/Dry Cleaning, Optical shop, Barber shop, Florist, GNC, Custom shoes, Embroidery, Giftware and more. The Food Court offers a taste of home with Popeye’s Chicken, Taco Bell, Anthony’s Pizza, Subway and Baskin Robbins Ice Cream. Anthony’s Pizza and Popeye’s offer daily delivery service!
We have three Shoppettes on post conveniently located to best serve you:
Zoeckler Station Shoppette and Food Court for a mouth watering experience at Pizza Hut and Subway. Pizza Hut also offers delivery service daily. Also located in this facility is laundry/dry cleaning, barber shop and an Exchange New Car Sales annex.
Sorak Shoppette recently opened and is well stocked with food, drinks, spirits, snacks and a variety of other items. Located upstairs, above the Shoppette you’ll find, Korean Furniture, watch repair, engraving/trophy service, customer made suits, a toy store and computer repair service.
3rd MI Shoppette is new and carries all the items you expect in a Shoppette. Located in the same facility is Charley’s Steakery, serving a popular selection of sandwiches.
The Post Theater seats over 550 customers and offers the latest Block Buster movies in digital sound. Movie schedule can be found here.
The 24 hours Laundromat is located adjacent to the MP station and the walk-in gate to Camp Humphreys.
Korea is a ration control country, so upon your arrival make sure to get a ration control card immediately. ID cards and ration control cards are necessary to enter all exchanges in Korea.
