Welcome to USAG Humphreys and the heart of the U.S. Military’s transformation on the Korean Peninsula-
Korea is a magnificent place to be assigned. Upon your arrival, you’ll quickly discover the Korean people to be warm and genuine. The Pyongtaek area has four distinct seasons, with spring and fall being the most enjoyable. Winters tend to be fairly cold, and the summers are hot and humid. The rainy season usually comes in July, and brings the occasional typhoon.
Our PX and Concession Mall is a 72,000 square foot facility which offers a Barber shop, Stylique Salon, Florist, GNC, Custom shoe Tailor, a gift shop and the ever-popular; Starbucks Coffee. The Food Court offers many tastes of home such as Popeye’s Chicken, Taco Bell, Anthony’s Pizza, Subway and Baskin Robbins Ice Cream.
We have three Shoppettes on the installation, conveniently located to best serve you;
Zoeckler Station Shoppette and Food Court offer Pizza Hut and Subway. Also located in this facility is laundry/dry cleaning, barber shop and an Exchange New Car Sales annex.
Sorak/Family Housing Shoppette is well stocked with food, drinks, spirits, snacks and a variety of other items. Located upstairs, above the Shoppette you’ll find, watch repair, engraving/trophy service, customer made suits, the Optical shop and computer repair service.
3rd MI Shoppette carries all the items you expect in a Shoppette. Located in the same facility is Charley’s Steakery, serving a popular selection of sandwiches.
The Post Theater seats over 550 customers and offers the latest Block Buster movies in digital sound. Movie schedule can be found here.
Korea is a ration control country, so immediately upon your arrival make sure to get a ration control card and learn the limits and policies associated with ration control. Military ID cards and ration control cards are necessary to enter all exchanges in Korea. Additional information pertaining to ration control can be found at this link “USAG Humphreys Home”.
My staff and I want to help make this your best overseas tour ever. We sincerely care about you and want to give you the best service possible while you’re in Korea. As USAG Humphreys continues to expand, we look forward to growing along with it, to best serve our military heroes!
