Vandenberg Air Force Base is the home of the 30th Space Wing Headquarters, which manages Department of Defense space and missile testing as well as placing satellites into polar orbit from the West Coast. We are located on the Central Coast of California, 180 miles north of Los Angeles and 280 miles south of San Francisco, between the cities of Lompoc and Santa Maria.

Our Main Exchange is a mall-type complex which includes barber, beauty, cable/cellular, gift, optical, food and flower shops. The Main Store offers current fashion, linens, hardware, sporting and outdoor goods, major appliances and a modern electronics area with all the latest technology in entertainment.
