The Base is located within El Segundo city limits, less than a mile west of the San Diego Freeway (I-405) on El Segundo Blvd. The housing area is at Fort MacArthur in San Pedro, approximately 23 miles south of the operations base. To reach the base take the El Segundo Blvd exit off I-405 and go west on El Segundo Blvd. Take a right on Douglas Blvd and the gate is immediately on the right.
Los Angeles has a BX, with a MCSS, Class Six, Dry Cleaners, Barber Shop, and Jewelry Repair. There is a food court which consists of a Burger King, Charley's, Robin Hood, Anthony's Pizza, and Starbucks. Coming soon in early spring will be Starbucks.
In Los Alamitos, at the National Guard Joint Training Center, we have a small store for your basic needs (Building 27) and a Military Clothing Sales (Building 7). Take the Katella exit off of the 605 freeway and travel east. Turn right on Lexington. The Main Store a block to the right of the command building. The MCSS is two blocks to the left from the command building. The installation is just a few miles from Knotts Berry Farm, Disneyland and other major attractions. Consider us for those items you left at home when out at the parks.
