Welcome to Edwards AFB Exchange Website Edwards Air Force Base is home of the Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC) and NASA Dryden Test Center. Edwards is the ideal location for testing and development of aircraft due to the Rogers Dry Lake Bed and year round good weather. Edwards is located on the western edge of the Mojave Desert, approximately 100 miles from Los Angeles. The installation covers 301,000 acres and has a workforce of 3,000 military personnel and 8,500 civilians. Edwards proudly opened a brand new 37,300 square foot shopping complex in May of 1997. It houses Taco Bell Express, Baskin Robbins, Popeye’s Chicken, Anthony’s Pizza, Robin Hood, Extreme Frank’s, Charley’s Steakery, Barber/Beauty Shop and a same day Optical Shop. Also available for the customer’s shopping convenience is a Florist and GNC nutritional center. NASA Dryden Test Center has the following food facilities: American Eatery, Robin Hood and Anthony’s Pizza. Edwards AFB Exchange also has a Burger King and Panda Express restaurants.
