The Shaw AFB Exchange operates on funds generated through sales of merchandise and services, not on tax dollars. Each month, a dividend is paid directly to Shaw AFB Services Squadron, which is a percentage of total sales, plus concession income. The remainder of the dividends is paid directly to the Air Force’s Central Service Fund. Facilities Service Information The Base Exchange Complex, which houses the Main Exchange, Food Court, MCSS, and Concessions, is located at the end of Shaw Drive across from the Commissary. Less than a quarter of a mile from the Main Exchange at the corner of Shaw Drive and Rhodes Avenue is the Shoppette/Gas/Class VI Store. The Shoppette provides a video rental machine and a great selection of snacks, drinks and convenience items. Burger King is located within a quarter of a mile from the Main Exchange on Lowrey Avenue. They serve your food up fast, delicious and with friendly service. The base Theater (online schedule) has great admission prices, tasty snacks and drinks to enjoy during the shows. The Shaw AFB Exchange operates 4 retail (including McEntire ANG Base) facilities, 2 food facilities, 8 concessions and 50 vending machines.
