The Central Region and Ft Rucker are committed to improving the accessibility of public places and meeting the requirements of the Rehabilitation Act.  Fulfilling this commitment will empower persons with opportunities to obtain employment and to enjoy shopping at the facilities  the exchange has to offer. By improving accessibility for persons with disabilities, the quality of life for all customers is enriched.

Based on the accessibility requirements developed for use in this website, the following symbols indicate that a feature is:

Accessible The universal accessibility symbol means that a feature is
accessible for persons who use wheelchairs.
Use Caution This symbol means a feature may be accessible for some
people but does not meet minimum standards.
Not
Accessible		 This symbol means that a feature is not accessible.
Access Information Guideline for Accessibility


For our customers who will be shopping AAFES facilities in a wheelchair and wish a friend to accompany them who is not an authorized AAFES patron, a letter of authorization can be issued to them by the local installation commander to allow them to accompany you while shop. Provided below is the address and telephone number of the Base Commander and a map for your convenience in obtaining a letter of authorization.
