Fort Gordon is the home of the Signal Corps and TRADOC. One hundred and fifty miles east of Atlanta. Fort Gordon covers approximately 87 square miles and serves a population of 61,519. It is the world's largest training facility in Communications and Electronics and is dedicated to a mission that encompasses training, doctrine, force integration and mobilization.

The climate is ideal with short cool winters and long warm summers.

On behalf of the Ft. Gordon Exchange Managers and Associates, we guarantee to make you our "FIRST PRIORITY" and provide you the best merchandise at the lowest price and the fastest customer service. Additionally, our goal is to exceed each of your customer service expectations. There are 59 AAFES facilities located throughout Fort Gordon to serve military members and their families. In addition to retail and food facilities, the Post Exchange operates barber shops, laundry and dry cleaners, a washeteria, car wash, shoe repair and shoe shine, flower shop, car rental and optical shop.

Other post exchange activities include two self-serve gas stations and three mobile snack wagons that serve patrons on site. The PX includes and expanded Food Court with Cinnabon, Taco John's, Baskin Robbins, Popeye's, Robin Hood Deli, Anthony's Pizza, Charley's Steakery and Extreeme Frank's Franks.

The AAFES retail pricing policy is to provide our customers an overall average savings of 20% below commercial prices. Remember, AAFES belongs to each and every military member. It is run for two purposes only: to provide you merchandise and service, and to fund your Morale, Welfare and Recreation activities. For example, in FY 07 AAFES Ft. Gordon returned $ 1,729,868 in earning to military members and their families through contributions to the Army and Air Force MWR funds.

AAFES also offers weekly sales events which are advertised by full-color tabloids. These promotions are in addition to locally developed programs which feature specials on services, food or merchandise selected by local management. These featured items are usually high demand, regular stock merchandise, so if for some reason a featured item is not available, an acceptable substitute at equal or greater percent savings or a rain check for future purchase will be offered to customers.

We appreciate your patronage and consider the American Soldier and their families to be the best Customers in the world! We are focused on our Customer and welcome you to provide comments to me (kirklandpj@aafes.com) and I look forward to hearing from you.
