| Dear Patron, Welcome to Bolling Air Force Base, home of the 11th Wing and the "Chiefs Own". Bolling Field was officially dedicated on 1 July 1918 and was named for Colonel Raynall C. Bolling, who was killed in action during World War I. In 1948, Bolling Field became Bolling Air Force Base. The primary mission of the Army and Air Force Exchange Service at Bolling is to provide authorized patrons with quality merchandise and services of necessity and convenience at uniformly low prices. The secondary mission is to generate earnings in support of morale, welfare and recreation (MWR) programs. Bolling Air Force Base has a Main Exchange, a Military Clothing Sales Store, a Car Care Center, and a Burger King. All of these facilities are staffed with friendly and knowledgeable associates that are truly customer focused. The Exchange Management Staff and I are committed in allocating the necessary resources and providing the training necessary to accomplish our objectives. We appreciate your patronage and consider our Military and their families to be the best customers in the world! We are focused on our customer and welcome you to provide comments to me at floydmarc@aafes.com, and I look forward to hearing from you. Sincerely, updated: 12/04/2007
