AAFES at Ft Bliss has a lot of excitement to share for this year and in the future. We are responding to the BRAC troop increases with some new projects to expand services on Ft Bliss. The project specifics can be found in the project section of this web page and I think you will agree that some outstanding improvements are being made for the Soldiers, Retirees and their families. AAFES is striving to be proactive in expansion of services and have recently expanded the barber shop and opened a new portrait studio at the PX and opened a Box Office Video store behind the service station for your convenience.

The new Cassidy Shoppette project is now under construction. It will have an 11,200 sq ft Shoppette/Class Six with 16 gas pumps. That is a total of 32 positions to fill up with gasoline and we will also begin to offer diesel fuel at the same time. Look for this facility to open in December of this year.

The PX mall now also offers some new cell phone service brands and an expanded Barber Shop that went from 12 chairs to 18. Also look for a new UPS store to open by April.
